Valiant’s new order stems from a previous Letter of Intent (LoI) announced on March 24, 2025. The formalization of this deal with Tejas Networks Limited marks a crucial milestone, transitioning the project into the execution phase. Tejas Networks, listed on NSE as TEJASNET, is acting as the primary contractor for this initiative, with Valiant entrusted to deliver specialized equipment and services for GETCO.
Scope of the Project
Under the terms of the contract, Valiant Communications will be responsible for the supply and commissioning of high-end Communication, Protection, and Synchronization equipment. These technologies are essential for enhancing the reliability, security, and efficiency of power transmission networks.
The entire scope of the project is expected to be executed by June 30, 2026, providing Valiant with a long-term operational engagement and revenue stream.
Financial Impact and Contract Details
The total value of the order is pegged at INR 3,746 lakhs (approximately INR 37.46 crore), inclusive of applicable indirect taxes. This sizable contract adds strong visibility to Valiant’s future earnings and supports its ongoing growth trajectory in India’s critical infrastructure sector.
Importantly, the order is domestic in nature, and there are no related party transactions involved, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance. The promoter and promoter group of Valiant have no interest in Tejas Networks or the awarding process.
GETCO: The End-User
The Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) will be the end-user of the delivered equipment. GETCO plays a vital role in ensuring the transmission of electricity across Gujarat, and the current project is part of its efforts to modernize and digitize its transmission infrastructure.
