This marks a phenomenal 416% year-on-year growth compared to Q1 FY25, where only 8,838 installations were recorded. With this achievement, Tata Power solidifies its position as India’s No. 1 rooftop solar company.
Crossing the 2 Lakh Installation Mark
The surge in installations has taken TPREL’s total rooftop installations nationwide to 2,04,443, with a cumulative installed capacity exceeding 3.4 GW. This record-setting performance underscores the company’s commitment to driving India’s transition to clean and sustainable energy solutions.
Supporting National Energy Goals
Tata Power’s remarkable growth in rooftop solar aligns closely with India’s vision to achieve 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. Through its ‘Ghar Ghar Solar’ initiative, the company actively contributes to the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSGY), helping bring affordable, clean electricity to homes across the country.
