On June 3, 2025, the company announced two major projects from the Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in water infrastructure development.
Project Highlights
- Rajasthan Rural Water Supply and Fluorosis Mitigation Project – Phase II, Package-1
- Scope: Supply and installation of 5,251 km of transmission and distribution pipelines, construction of 38 ground-level reservoirs (40 ML capacity), 20 pump houses, and 132 overhead service reservoirs (25 ML capacity).
- Objective: Address water demand in 285 villages and towns like Surajgarh and Udaipurwati in Jhunjhunu district.
- Kekri-Sarwar Water Supply System Rehabilitation
- Scope: Supply and installation of 43 km of transmission pipelines, along with electromechanical, instrumentation, automation, and SCADA works.
- Additional Commitments: Both projects include a 1-year defects liability period and 10-year operations & maintenance (O&M) support.
These projects, classified as “Significant” (valued between ₹1,000 to ₹2,500 crore), underscore L&T’s dominance in water infrastructure. Notably, this marks the company’s 25th water project in Rajasthan, reflecting its long-standing trust with clients.
