On June 27, 2025, L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS), a global engineering and technology services leader and a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, announced the grand opening of a state-of-the-art Engineering Design Center in Plano, Texas. The new center is designed to foster advancements in artificial intelligence, digital engineering, cybersecurity, and manufacturing solutions. As an ITAR-compliant facility, it will also support the design and development of defense-grade technologies. Initially accommodating 100 engineers, the center aims to scale up to employ over 350 high-skilled professionals across core segments such as Mobility, Tech, and Smart Manufacturing.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz lauded the launch, highlighting LTTS’s role in job creation and technological leadership in Texas. “This center is a testament to your unwavering commitment to excellence and the future of the Lone Star State,” he stated, noting the potential for 400 new jobs.Echoing similar sentiments, Mayor John B. Muns and Congressman Pat Fallon praised the project for its impact on the local economy and its contribution to Texas’ high-tech industry ecosystem.
