Titagarh Rail Systems Secures ₹430.53 Crore Order from Pune Metro
Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has achieved a significant milestone by securing a prestigious order from the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha-Metro). The consortium of Titagarh Rail Systems and its associate company, Titagarh Firema S.p.A, has received a Letter of Approval to supply 12 additional trainsets for the Pune Metro Rail Project, under clause A.6 of Contract No: P1/RS-01/2018.

This new order is valued at approximately ₹430.53 crore and pertains to the design, manufacture, supply, testing, and commissioning of Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) for passenger transit. Additionally, it includes the training of personnel, reinforcing Titagarh’s holistic and end-to-end capabilities in the railway infrastructure domain.
The new contract is a quantity variation addition to an earlier agreement signed in August 2019. It reflects Maha-Metro’s continued trust in Titagarh’s technological competence, product reliability, and execution capabilities.
